The Future For The Past?
Bethlehem is a quiet village in the shadow of Garn Goch. Nothing much happens for years at a time.
Then this: a peleton of women cyclists, scores of support vehicles, and dozens of police on motorbikes.
More people than when Bethlehem school (it's that stone building in the background) had 76 pupils back in the 1880s. By 2000, when it closed, it had 6 pupils.
Times change. Sometimes in the most unexpected ways as we've recently - and painfully - discovered.
So having remained largely undisturbed, except by grazing animals, horse riders and walkers, for thousands of years, perhaps the near future might be unexpectedly different for Garn Goch?
That, anyway, is a possibility, but whetherit does depends on a number of people and organisations.
